Furutech's FI-50 Piezo Ceramic series connectors feature innovative construction techniques, including a non-magnetic multilayer stainless steel and carbon fiber shell with a special damping and insulating material. The connector bodies combine nano-sized ceramic particles and carbon powder, along with nylon and fiberglass, to achieve effective mechanical and electrical damping. The key design element is the piezoelectric effect, where mechanical pressure generates an electrical charge. The thermal-conductive properties of the carbon powder convert this energy into heat, which is dissipated from the connector surface. These carefully selected materials enable the connectors to deliver the highest quality signal transmission.
